We passed our first initiation at Red Rocks with flying colors. Our very own Arlen Cormack was hired as the Production Manager, overseeing lighting, video design, and installation for the Zeds Dead “Deadrocks” sold out show. This afforded us our very first opportunity to hang Trinity at this very special, world famous venue. 3D Wavefront Control ensured that every seat at Red Rocks was the best seat in the house, and kept the sound within the venue, pleasing the surrounding neighbors.
The ability to narrow the horns on the top Trinity boxes in the array allowed us the unique ability to have a cleaner, more transparent sound all the way in the rear seats at the top of the hill. The feedback we have received on both shows we did there (Mad Decent made a stop there as well), was that no other sound system was able to push high frequencies that easily up the hill, resulting in a more uniform audio experience for every guest.
- Steep audience seating arrangement requiring “ARC shaped” array
- Dramatically changing weather patterns
- Non-uniform rock surfaces that deflect sound
- Thin air at 6500ft
- Very strict sound bylaws with heavy fines, if broken
