Join PK Sound for a VR demo of Trinity

Posted by Casey Hughes

PK Sound has partnered with virtual reality pioneers INVRS3D and their good friend, DJ and Producer, Datsik to produce a series of cinematic VR experiences that immerse the viewer into the scene using cutting edge film technology. Our first segment features a Trinity setup demo while the team discusses the innovative features of the robotic line array as the action takes place around them.

While Datsik, Sound Engineer PJ Miller and Jeremy Bridge, President and CEO of PK Sound discuss how Trinity sculpts the sound field in 3 dimensions, the PK production crew demonstrate how quickly a 12-module Trinity line array is flown and configured.

INVRS3D is quickly building a name for themselves by pioneering new VR technology with a team passionate about capturing live event footage and reproducing the experience in the truest way imaginable. They are redefining the way that people connect and share stories by crafting cinematic VR realities filmed in stereo 3D. Keep an eye out for new projects by the team at INVRS3D coming soon, including projects with Skrillex, Shabhala and Excision.

This feature-rich video is packed with content so be sure to look all around. There are visual treats everywhere – make sure that you watch this one a few times to take it all in.

Check out the first segment of the video sequence below – no VR goggles required!
