Calgary, Alberta, October 2021 — PK SOUND, the robotic line array company, has announced the appointments of Trevor Grenier and Darryl Ross to the newly created positions of Senior Partner Support and Senior Applications Support, respectively. The two comprise the core of the company’s Brand Team alongside Andrew King, recently appointed as PK’s Senior Brand Support, and report to Chief Strategy Officer James Oliver.
Grenier originally joined PK SOUND in 2011 and has served in a variety of roles leading up to his most recent stint as Senior Account Manager since 2016. Going forward, Grenier will assist PK’s growing international distribution network and PK Alliance partners with logistic, operational, and technical support.
“We’ve come a long way from where we started with PK SOUND, and the fact that we’ve treated our teammates and partners like family since day one has been a huge driver of our international growth,” comments Grenier. “I plan to carry those same values forward as we begin the newest and most exciting leg of the journey so far. From the moment you start a relationship with PK to the moment your system is first deployed, we’ll ensure you’ve got the full support of our entire team and enjoy the best customer experience in the industry.”
Ross joined PK SOUND in 2017 following several high-profile posts with reputable production technologies companies, including TMB, A.C. Lighting, Christie Lites, and others. In his new role of Senior Application Support, Ross will assist PK partners and users with system design and deployment, liaise on product development and improvement, and lead development and delivery of the PK Education program.
“We’re proud of our reputation as an industry innovator and want to make sure that PK Alliance partners and users can get the most out of their technological advantage,” comments Ross. “A big part of that is the PK Education program, which we’re currently developing in collaboration with some of our industry’s most esteemed partners. The result will be equal parts informative, engaging, and inspiring, and like everything we do, will contribute to a world-class customer experience for our partners.”
“Over the past year, we’ve made significant investments to expand our technological offering, and the adjustment of Trevor and Darryl’s roles will help us to meet the demands of our growing international client base,” comments Oliver in closing. “Their experience in deploying PK technologies and supporting our customers will be integral to our next phase of growth as we introduce a more collaborative and equitable approach to our industry and expand to service the global touring market.”
